Description
Good for
- University and lab research on locomotion and control
- Algorithm and gait development
- STEM programmes that need a programmable quadruped
- Payload prototyping on the standard expansion interfaces
Not for
- Buyers who only need performances (the D1 Pro does the same shows for less)
- All-weather industrial inspection (no IP rating published for the Edu — see the D1 Ultra IP54)
- Loads over the 5 kg rated payload or routes beyond the 1–2 hour battery
What is included
D1 robot ×1, charger ×1, handheld remote control ×1. The manufacturer’s specification table also lists a charging dock and adapter as standard equipment; your quote confirms the exact configuration before you pay.
Delivery, total cost & warranty
Ships from China. Because the battery exceeds passenger-aircraft limits, transport is by DG air cargo or sea freight; the quote states the routing and the landed total for your country. Manufacturer warranty: 1 year. Your quote confirms the configuration, DG freight and duties as one landed total before any payment.
Product FAQ
What do I get over the D1 Pro?
The SDK for secondary development, the expansion interface set (Ethernet, USB, power, SBUS, UART), support for modules such as LiDAR, depth cameras, RTK and 4G/5G, and URDF models for Isaac Sim / MuJoCo simulation.
Is the hardware different from the Pro?
The published platform specifications are the same (size, weight, speed, payload, battery); the difference is development access and interfaces.
Can it work outdoors in the rain?
No IP rating is published for the Edu; rated operating temperature is 0–40 °C. For sealed platforms see the D1 Ultra (IP54) and the Max series (IP67).
What does the ¥36,000 reference price mean?
It is AgiBot’s official list price in China. Your PupRobot quote adds DG freight and duties and states one landed total before you pay anything.
