Description
Good for:
- Developers who want a compact self-balancing wheel-legged platform with full SDK access
- Robotics education — balance control, crouch/stand height change (140 mm) and fall recovery on a 10 kg machine
- Teleoperation experiments — the remote supports real-time HD video and voice intercom
Not for:
- Buyers who need a documented perception suite — the official spec sheet contains no sensor, SLAM or navigation section for this model
- Carrying work beyond its published payloads (3 kg standing / 10 kg crouching)
- Buyers who need a product photo before enquiring — only the manufacturer’s line drawings exist
What a quote includes:
First, confirmation from HachiBot that the model is currently available and at what price — HachiBot takes intention pre-orders only and publishes no price. Then the unit in its Developer Edition configuration, its perception hardware as confirmed with HachiBot, the standard box contents as confirmed (not published), plus freight and duties as one landed total, confirmed by email before any payment.
Delivery, total cost & warranty:
Ships from China. The battery is 5000 mAh at 36 V nominal (no watt-hour figure published); your quote confirms the freight routing and the landed total for your country before any payment. Warranty terms are not published by HachiBot and are confirmed in your quote.
Product FAQ:
Q: How does it move? A: Two driven wheels on articulated legs: it balances on the wheels, crosses obstacles on one or two legs, lowers itself from 510 mm standing to 370 mm crouched, and recovers its balance after drops and falls (HachiBot spec sheet).
Q: What sensors does it have? A: HachiBot’s spec sheet for this model does not list any camera or sensor suite — unlike its quadruped. It does specify the HD video/voice remote link and satellite positioning. We confirm the perception hardware with HachiBot in your quote instead of borrowing the quadruped’s specification.
Q: Why are the pictures drawings? A: They are HachiBot’s own published technical drawings — the only imagery the manufacturer provides for this model. We show them as they are rather than substitute another robot’s photo.
Q: What is the price? A: HachiBot publishes no price. Your quote confirms availability and the current price with the manufacturer first.
