Description
Good for:
- AI and robotics researchers who need a full-size humanoid with low-level joint and end-effector control APIs
- Developers running gait planning, dexterous manipulation, multimodal interaction and reinforcement-learning work
- Integrators who need published power outputs (24V/12V) and interfaces for their own external sensors
Not for:
- Buyers who need LiDAR fitted — the EDU’s spec table marks LiDAR as not fitted; external sensors connect via its interfaces instead
- Buyers who need the higher-compute backpack option — the EDU cell for the compute backpack is “not available” in LimX’s table
- Buyers who need an off-the-shelf published price
What a quote includes:
The Oli EDU unit with its standard end effectors (humanoid hand model and parallel two-finger gripper), your choice of optional end effectors (five-finger dexterous hand 6 DOF, in-house two-finger gripper, in-house three-finger dexterous hand 4 DOF) and controller options, the drawer battery module and 58.8V 10A charger as listed in the spec table, the standard box contents as confirmed with LimX, plus freight and duties as one landed total, confirmed by email before any payment.
Delivery, total cost & warranty:
Ships from China as freight (at most 55 kg); your quote confirms the routing and the landed total for your country before any payment. Warranty follows LimX’s published after-sales policy — 12 months for the whole machine from receipt (wear parts excluded), key components extendable to 24 months on marked models, battery and charging system 6–12 months per the product page/contract; the applicable terms for your order are confirmed in the quote.
Product FAQ:
Q: Is the endurance 1.5 hours or 2 hours?
A: LimX’s spec table states about 1.5 h for the 9,500 mAh drawer battery; its FAQ says about 2 h per battery (lab data). We quote the spec table and flag the FAQ figure here.
Q: Does the Oli EDU have Ethernet?
A: The spec table lists one Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) port; the FAQ claims dual Gigabit Ethernet. The contradiction is on LimX’s own site — your quote confirms the fitted configuration.
Q: Which edition should I buy — is there a non-EDU Oli?
A: LimX’s FAQ states the Oli currently on sale is the EDU edition, aimed at education and research. Other Oli versions are described as a series but are not published for sale.
Q: What is the price?
A: LimX publishes no price for the Oli. Your quote confirms the current price and landed total.
